About PlainWater
PlainWater provides free, searchable access to drinking water quality data from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Safe Drinking Water Information System (SDWIS) and the Fifth Unregulated Contaminant Monitoring Rule (UCMR5) program.
Our database covers over 143,000 active public water systems across all 50 states, territories, and tribal lands. We track violation history, health-based violations, and PFAS "forever chemical" testing results.
